This line from the Simon and Garfunkel song "I am a rock" and it perfectly describes the way christmas time in the Laurentian Mountains. The snow makes everything quiet and serene and even though there are tons of people around town and lots of hustle and bustle but when you are out in the middle of the woods watching the snow fall, you feel totally alone and at peace.
